Poids léger. Les cheveux sont retenus par un petit diadème perlé. Émission liée aux vicennalia de Constantin Ier d’où la présence de la couronne à l’exergue.
Lightweight. The hair is held in place by a small pearl diadem. Issue linked to the vicennalia of Constantine I, hence the presence of the crown in the exergue.

Wife of Constantius I, mother of Constantine I - Augusta
Helena, mother of Constantine and first wife of Constantius Chlorus, received the title of augusta in 324. After the death of Fausta and Crispus, she went to the Holy Land. In Jerusalem, she discovered remains of the true cross and founded many institutions. She died in 328, was sanctified and entered in the calendar.
