Le Dollar de la Caraïbe orientale circule dans 6 États indépendants (Antigua-et-Barbuda, Dominique, Grenade, Saint-Christophe-et-Niévès, Saint-Vincent-et-les Grenadines et Sainte-Lucie) et deux territoires d'outre-mer britanniques (Anguilla et Montserrat). Le dollar est-carribéen a remplacé en 1965 le dollar des Indes orientales britanniques. Son taux de change par rapport au dollar US est de 2,7 pour 1, taux fixe depuis 1976.
The East Caribbean dollar circulates in six independent states (Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Saint Lucia) and two British overseas territories (Anguilla and Montserrat). The East Caribbean dollar replaced the British East India dollar in 1965. Its exchange rate against the US dollar is 2.7 to 1, a rate that has been fixed since 1976.
