v26_0593 - GALLIA SUDOVESTE DELLA GALLIA - PETROCORII (Regione di Perigueux) Drachme au sanglier, tête à droite / sanglier à gauche

Bien que quatre variétés aient été distinguées (de manière assez subjective) par les auteurs du Moneta 36, il semble que le classement de cette série de rares drachmes ne soit pas encore au point ! La rareté et la dispersion du matériel ne favorisent en rien un meilleur classement. Si la tête est à droite, comme l’exemplaire MONNAIES XXV, n° 610, le traitement de la chevelure n’a rien à voir et le sanglier (?) du revers est à gauche.
Although four varieties have been distinguished (in a rather subjective manner) by the authors of Moneta 36, it seems that the classification of this series of rare drachmas is not yet finalized! The rarity and dispersion of the material do not in any way favor a better classification. If the head is on the right, like the copy COINS XXV, no. 610, the treatment of the hair has nothing to do with it and the boar (?) on the reverse is on the left
