Le revers bien que décentré présente un cheval stylisé avec une crinière perlée qui n’est pas sans rappeler les deniers Q DOCI SAM et TOGIRIX.

The Leuques are mentioned only once in the Gallic Wars. Their neighbors were the Médiomatriques, the Lingons and the Séquanes. The Leuques as well as the Séquanes and the Lingones provided Caesar with wheat when the Roman army stopped at Vesontio (Besançon) to refuel before facing the Germans of Ariovistus (58 BC).
