Ce rare statère appartient à la classe II des statères au personnage allongé. L'exemplaire typologiquement comparable du Nouvel Atlas (DT. 2321A) est celui de la BN, repris pour illustrer le LA TOUR (LT. 6524).
Le style un peu dégénéré de cet exemplaire ferait rapprocher ce statère du DT 2321, mais avec un revers dans l’autre sens.

The typologically comparable example in the New Atlas (DT. 2321A) is that of the BN, used to illustrate the LA TOUR (LT. 6524). The slightly degenerate style of this example would make this stater closer to DT 2321, but with a reverse in the other direction

GALLIA - AULERCI DIABLINTES (Area of Jublain)
(2nd - 1st century BC)
The Aulerci are a very large people who are subdivided into three large tribes, including the Aulerci Diablintes who were located to the northwest of the Aulerci Cénomans, in the Mayenne basin. Gold coins are attributed to them, of the Cenoman type but with a particular reverse, as well as weakly represented billon coins, known from surface research and excavations of the late sanctuary of Juvigné..
