D’après le classement d’O. Morkholm, il faut bien rendre ce tétradrachme à Ptolémée V. Ce serait une des ultimes émissions lagides pour l’atelier de Tyr, perdu après la bataille de Panion en 200 avant J.-C.
According to O. Morkholm's classification, this tetradrachm must be attributed to Ptolemy V. It would be one of the last Ptolemaic issues for the Tyre mint, lost after the Battle of Panion in 200 BC.

Ptolemy V, king at 5, died at 29. He was crowned Pharaoh in Memphis in 197 BC. This event was immortalized by the Rosetta stone that Champollion was to transcribe 2,000 years later, delivering the key to the hieroglyphic writing. Ptolemy V married Cleopatra I, daughter of Antiochus III, and left two minor sons: Ptolemy VI and VIII.
