Ce bronze ne correspond pas exactement aux bronzes nédènes au cheval, ni aux bronzes dits “des rois gaulois”.
Le type de tête se rapproche des monnaies nédènes, mais avec une stylisation poussée. Le revers est difficile à déterminer, entre un cheval proche du LT. 2449 et un lion proche des LT. 2416 et suivantes...
Cet exemplaire, avec une légende fragmentaire semble être un hybride, ou une imitation dont l’aire de circulation serait nettement autour du bassin de l’Hérault.
This bronze does not correspond exactly to the Nedenian bronzes with horses, nor to the so-called “Gallic kings” bronzes. The type of head is similar to the Nedenian coins, but with a strong stylization. The reverse is difficult to determine, between a horse close to LT. 2449 and a lion close to LT. 2416 and following... This example, with a fragmentary legend, seems to be a hybrid, or an imitation whose circulation area would clearly be around the Hérault basin.

This people who occupied most of the departments of Aude and Hérault is mentioned neither by Ptolemy, nor by Strabo, nor by Caesar. Their coinage is known to us only by the treasures of Béziers (Hérault) discovered in 1871 and which contained between 750 and 800 coins of Languedoc style as well as that of Moussan in the Aude, discovered in 1967 and which contained 28 drachmas of style " Languedocian".
