C’est l’une des deux représentations de navires pendant le règne de Néron sur les monnaies d’Alexandrie. Au total, il y a treize représentations de bateaux entre Néron et Commode sur le monnayage alexandrin. Ce type n’a été frappé qu’en l’an 13 (66/67). L’exemplaire.

The monetary reform of 64 made it possible to restore the finances of the state while making the inhabitants of the Empire bear the cost of these.
